Terms of Use

This page (together with the documents referred to on it) informs you of the terms on which you may make use of our website http://www..artconnects.co.uk/ (the “Site”) (the “Terms”). Please read these Terms carefully before you start to use the Site. By using our Site, you indicate that you accept these Terms and that you agree to abide by them. We provide our Site to you for free, in return you agree to comply with these Terms and we accept your compliance with these terms as adequate consideration. If you do not agree to these Terms, please refrain from using our Site. Your access to and continued use of the Site is also subject to our Privacy Policy, the terms of which can be found directly on the Site, which is incorporated herein by reference.

Our Site is made available free of charge.

Access to our Site is permitted on a temporary basis and we reserve the right to withdraw, suspend or amend the Site without notice (see below). Without prejudice to Sections 4 and 5, we will not be liable if for any reason our Site is unavailable at any time or for any period.

From time to time, we may restrict access to some parts of our Site, or our entire Site.

What you can do with content from our Site

You may download extracts, of any page(s) from our Site, but only for your personal use and to draw the attention of others to the content. You can do that from anywhere in the world and free of charge. You must not modify the copies (whether paper or digital) of any materials you have printed off or downloaded in any way, and you must not use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences or any graphics separately from any accompanying text. YOU MUST NOT USE ANY PART OF THE SITE FOR COMMERCIAL OR BUSINESS PURPOSES WITHOUT OBTAINING A LICENCE TO DO SO FROM US AND/OR OUR LICENSORS.

If you print off, copy or download any part of our Site in breach of these Terms, your right to use our Site will cease immediately and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made.

We respect intellectual property rights and ask you to do the same. We reserve the right, with or without notice, at any time and in our sole discretion to block access to any person who infringes, is alleged or suspected (by us or a third party who has given us notice) to infringe any copyrights or other intellectual property rights.

Should you come across any problematic content please notify us immediately and we will use reasonable endeavours to address the problem or promptly remove the content.

We do not guarantee that our Site will be secure or free from bugs or viruses.

You must not attack our site via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of service attack. By breaching this provision, you would commit a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and we will co-operate with those authorities by disclosing your identity to them. In the event of such a breach, your right to use our site will cease immediately.

8. LINKING TO OUR SITE AND USE OF OUR SOCIAL MEDIA TAGS AND HASHTAGS

You may:

  • link to our home page; and

  • use the #ARTconnects hashtag on other websites, channels and social media sites; and

  • tag the @Salmszee handle on other websites, channels and social media sites, 

provided such use is fair and legal, is in accordance with the terms and conditions of any third party platform on which it is used, and does not damage or take advantage of our reputation. You must not establish a link or use the #ARTconnects hashtag or the @Salmszee handle in such a way as to suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part where none exists.  

Our Site must not be framed on any other site, nor may you create a link to any part of our Site other than the home page. We reserve the right to withdraw linking permission without notice. 

Where our content is hosted by third party websites or other social media platforms such as Facebook or YouTube, we assume no liability or responsibility over their own controls, terms of use or practices as we operate distinctly and separately from their sites.

10. JURISDICTION AND APPLICABLE LAW

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any claim arising from, or related to, a visit to our site.

We may revise and update these Terms from time to time in our sole discretion. All changes are effective immediately when we post them, and apply to all access to and use of the Site thereafter.
